Description
Pressed steel trays slide. This one is cast, and the mass is the feature — it sits still while you drop fasteners into it with the other hand busy.
Four wells, graded in size, with radiused corners so a small screw can be swept out with a finger rather than chased round a square corner. The bead-blasted finish holds a little oil and does not show every mark.
It is machined flat on the underside, which sounds like a detail until you put a tray on a surface plate or a saw table and it does not rock. Washes in solvent without softening, unlike the moulded trays it replaces.
