About Ilzel Industries

A hardware merchant, not a marketplace

Ilzel Industries supplies workshop and home hardware to people who use it: bench storage,
shop lighting, work textiles, measuring and marking tools, fixings, and the finishing
materials that go on at the end of a job. We are a small catalogue by choice. Every line we
carry has been handled, fitted to a bench, and kept because it earned the space.

The business is operated by Ilzel Industries LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We ship
from the United States to customers across the fifty states. We are not a dropshipper and we
do not list stock we cannot put our hands on.

Why the catalogue is small

A hardware aisle that carries nine versions of the same tool is not serving the person
holding it. It is hedging. We would rather carry one bench mat that lies flat after a winter
in a cold garage than four that curl.

So the range is deliberately narrow and the reasons are written down. Where two products
look alike we say plainly which one is heavier, which one is easier to clean, and which one
we would put on our own bench.

  • Handled before listed. Nothing goes in the catalogue from a datasheet alone.
  • Specified honestly. Weights, dimensions and materials are stated. Where a figure is nominal we say so.
  • Stocked, not forwarded. If it shows as available, it is on a shelf we control.
  • Replaced, not argued about. If something fails in normal use inside the warranty window, we replace it.

How we are organised

Orders are picked and packed in the order they arrive. Standard orders placed before
2:00pm Eastern on a business day are generally dispatched the same or next working day.
Larger cabinets ship by freight and we contact you to arrange a delivery window rather than
leaving a four-hundred-dollar cabinet at the kerb.

Customer correspondence is answered by the same small team that packs the boxes. There is
no call centre and no ticket queue you will be passed around. If you write to
support@ilzelindustries.store during the hours below, you will usually
hear back the same business day.

Where to find us

What we will not do

We do not sell customer data, we do not run surprise subscriptions, and we do not add
anything to a basket that the customer did not put there. Pricing on the site is the pricing
at checkout. Shipping is shown before payment, never after.

How a line gets into the catalogue

A product has to survive four steps before it is listed, and most do not.

  1. Sample. We buy it at retail, anonymously, the way a customer would.
  2. Bench time. It goes into real use for at least a month. A bench mat
spends a winter on a cold floor. A lamp gets switched on and off every day.
  3. Teardown. We look at how it is made — the welds, the stitching,
the fasteners, whether a worn part can be replaced or whether failure means landfill.
  4. Price sanity. If a competing product does the same job for less and
lasts as long, we carry that one instead.

On repairability

Where a product can be rebuilt rather than replaced, we say so on its page and we stock the
wearing parts. A sanding block that takes a new cork face is a better purchase than one that
is thrown away, and a clamp with a replaceable pad will outlive three cheaper ones.

This is not a sustainability position so much as an economic one. The cheapest tool over ten
years is almost never the cheapest tool on the day.

Packaging

We pack in plain corrugate with paper void fill. No branded boxes, no plastic air pillows,
no tissue and ribbon. The saving goes into the product rather than the unboxing, and the
carton can go straight into recycling.

Pricing

Prices are set once and left alone. We do not run countdown timers, we do not inflate a
list price so a discount looks larger, and we do not change what you see based on what you
looked at last week. If a price falls it is because our cost fell.

Accessibility

The site is built to be read at any width and with a screen reader. Every product image
carries a description, headings are in order, and contrast is measured rather than guessed.
If something here is hard for you to use, tell us — that is a defect and we will fix it.
