Description
Hide glue is reversible. Heat and moisture release the joint, which is why a repairer will thank you for using it and curse you for using anything else.
It has a long open time, so a complicated glue-up does not become a race, and it sands and takes a finish rather than sealing the timber against one.
The brush supplied is a flat ferrule bristle that washes out in warm water. Keep the bottle off a cold floor — below about 10 degrees it thickens and wants warming before use.
