Description
Cast bars snap and the tip is the piece that goes. These are drop-forged in one piece from the tip through to the strike end.
Each is ground thin at the blade and left thick behind it, so the tip enters a tight joint and the body still takes a hammer. The strike end is flat and hardened for exactly that.
Three lengths because the reach you need is rarely the leverage you need.
None of the three has a nail slot. A slot weakens the blade exactly where the leverage is, and a bar used for prying is not the tool to pull a nail with.
