Description
A tight beam, deliberately. A flood is useless down a bore or behind a panel, and most pocket lights are floods.
The clip is riveted through the body rather than sprung over it, so it does not fatigue and drop the light out of a shirt pocket. Knurled barrel for grip with an oily hand, and the tail cap stands the light on end to bounce light off a ceiling.
It runs on a single cell rather than a built-in pack, so it works after two years in a drawer with a fresh cell, instead of being a sealed unit that has quietly died.
