Description
Printed graduations wear off. These are etched and filled, so the marks survive being dragged across steel and wiped with solvent.
Satin, not mirror. A polished rule throws the lamp straight back at you and the numbers disappear at exactly the angle you work at; the satin face scatters it.
All three are marked in millimetres on one edge and inches on the other, square-ended so they can be used against a stop.
The 150 lives in an apron pocket, the 300 on the bench and the 600 on the wall. Buying them as a set rather than one at a time is cheaper and means the graduations all agree with each other.
