Description
Closed cell, so oil and water sit on top and wipe off instead of soaking in and going sour. The texture is moulded rather than printed and does not polish smooth under a boot.
Edges are bevelled on all four sides. A square-edged mat is a trip hazard and curls within a month; the bevel keeps it flat and lets a castor roll over it.
At 14mm it is thick enough to be worth standing on and thin enough that a stool still works at the bench. Thicker mats feel better for an hour and then make everything else the wrong height.
